I was told the other day, “you don’t have to be so serious…” I feel as if you gotta take what you like to do seriously. Not only that but give it 100% (or at least try) There’s no need to just put a minimal amount of effort into it… You might as well try to do whatever it is that you like really well (or the best that you can). Read into it, practice it, ask questions.
“There is a tremendous amount of luck involved, but actually luck is just your whole life coming into play. So you’ve got your life as your assets and you use those assets to go and do your project. You don’t worry about the practical things like how to take a picture. Now a days everyone can take a picture with an iphone, you worry about becoming the person you are and that will help you make the stars align so you can complete your project.”

This guys not that great a speaker but the work he’s done is phenomenal. He’s lived with the Yakuza for 2 years in Japan and has taken some amazing photographs. I have no idea How that’s even possible to just live around them taking pictures. Not to mention he’s not even Japanese…

He has a book out for sale on his site, check it out, buy a copy, copy images off his site for your desktop background, do whatever you like, just make sure to check him out.
Finally graduated, Lets hope that I pass that class so It all becomes 100% official. I’d like to thank my family and friends for coming out to the ceremony and or hometown buffet. Each and everyone one of them is extremely rad, more than you can even imagine. And for the ones who did make it out…. Sike! You’re still just as rad.
